This water fall of metal, going over the edge reminds me of how many times in life we have gone over the edge. Sometimes trying out new things. Sometimes getting in trouble. Sometimes just to see what is on the other side, over the edge. This orange, pink, and blue abstract photo of a burned out building, the folds of metal speak to me

Fire BrewedPosted on February 1st, 2009 | Permalink | 1 Comment
Fire does many things. We do not consider that fire can create art. Fire is used to create art but fire actually creating art. Although this is some what dark, consider that the fire created it. Cheers. The Ring: Sculpted by the FirePosted on January 30th, 2009 | Permalink | 3 Comments
The amazing sculpting abilities of fire can be observed in the 6 foot diameter ring it made. Often times things sculpted from and by the world and elements around us produce dynamic effects. This was a truss, the steel that held the roof of the building up. Now, as if bent into a giant ring, much as one might with a piece of aluminum foil. Just a trinket for the fire. Fire, you got to admire it at the same time that you fear it.

Also TwistedPosted on January 17th, 2009 | Permalink | 4 Comments
What amazes me about the series of photos of the burned out building is the sculpture created by the fire.

Was in Black and White PhotographyPosted on January 9th, 2009 | Permalink | 10 Comments
On conferring with a fellow artist, the thought occurred, what would my photos look like in black and white. Think of this as a Rorschach test. However, to make this work, it would help to have others contribute. Please ask others what they see and have them contribute too. Thanks for your support. Rise AbovePosted on January 2nd, 2009 | Permalink | Comments Disabled
This picture got me to thinking of the adversities we face day by day. They can corrode or deteriorate our spirit, that force that actuates our mind. They can be destructive if we let them. However, if we, like this piece of roofing tin from a burned out building, rise above the adversity, it can do no harm. Just as the steel that avoided the rust by being above it, we too can succeed in life. Succeed regardless of what ever crash and burn we may experience. This is true, only if we choose to rise above those adversities. What do you think? What do you see? Share your one word comment on what you see.

A Twisted RelationshipPosted on December 18th, 2008 | Permalink | 1 Comment
Have you ever known two people who were, well, twisted, together and just right for each other? Sometimes we find that person who is right for us and we for them. In the case of this building fire, the ensuing sculpture was created and two pieces that otherwise would not be together. Now they just fit. Cheers. Hey, if you were to describe this using just one word, what would it be, what do you see? Come on, share a thought. Abstraction in YellowPosted on November 1st, 2008 | Permalink | 2 Comments
