This picture got me to thinking of the adversities we face day by day. They can corrode or deteriorate our spirit, that force that actuates our mind. They can be destructive if we let them. However, if we, like this piece of roofing tin from a burned out building, rise above the adversity, it can do no harm. Just as the steel that avoided the rust by being above it, we too can succeed in life. Succeed regardless of what ever crash and burn we may experience.

This is true, only if we choose to rise above those adversities.
